Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our national behavioral health team in Michigan. You will coordinate medical care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and DSPs to support residents with IDD, autism, and complex health needs.

You will participate in assessments, monitor health concerns, and contribute to quality improvement and training initiatives, while upholding state regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan
• 2+ years nursing experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical care for individuals with diverse healthcare needs
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as ordered
• Complete assessments and monitor ongoing health concerns
• Educate and support Direct Support Professionals on medical care and equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and best practices
• Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and medical training initiatives
