  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and must maintain it.
  • Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and must maintain (preferred)
  • Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
  • Ventilator management experience preferred
  • BSN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care for assigned Medical‑Surgical patients
  • Perform ongoing assessments and monitor patient condition and response to treatment
  • Communicate changes in condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology to physicians
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per orders
  • Provide patient and family education and guide nursing support staff
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient status
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Registers for RN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Rumford Hospital, Rumford, ME 04276. Per‑Diem | 12‑Hour Shifts. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient‑centered care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) within the Medical‑Surgical unit. Responsible for direct patient care, care coordination, and clinical assessment in an acute care environment.

Pay Transparency

Rumford Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00 to $49.16 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
