Job summary

AHMC HealthCare is seeking a Staff RN for Labor & Delivery in Riverside, CA. The nurse will collaborate in creating the patient’s care plan and provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process in a therapeutic environment.

The role requires a CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certification within 90 days. Minimum 2 years of L&D experience is expected, with a strong focus on patient safety and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

Job description

The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The RN shall, for their patient, collaborate in the formulation of the overall plan of care for the patient, as evidenced by written documentation. Identifies needs and problems specific to biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio-cultural, and spiritual. Demonstrates accountability for on-going awareness of the status of assigned patients. Collects and documents data appropriate to the nature and severity of the condition.

Minimum 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery. Current CA Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications are required. NIHSS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
