Job summary

Commonwealth OB/GYN Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, day-shift role in Richmond, VA. The position offers a supportive team and focuses on delivering high-quality patient care without night shifts, on-call duties, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities include patient flow management, education on medications, charting, medication administration, and maintaining supplies. A valid RN license is required; 1–3 years of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• 1–3 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening and preparation for exams.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming calls (possible phone triage).
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no oncall, no weekends, no holidays

Seeking a Registered Nurse RN for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure a all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• You will manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• You will check rooms daily for necessary supplies
• You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”

What Qualifications you will need:

Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required

Experience:

1-3 years experience as a registered nurse is preferred

Certification/ License:

Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations
