Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team as independent contractors providing medical evaluation services to U.S. military service members in New Jersey, primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays.

You will assess health readiness for reserve forces, review histories and questionnaires, and document findings in the service member’s medical record using our proprietary system. This role requires RN licensure and strong clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
• Unrestricted RN license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
• Capacity to handle high-stress situations and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.

Attention all Registered Nurses, we are calling you to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to our Military Service members.

We primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in the State of New Jersey on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.

• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.

Requirements

• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Certification: Possess a minimum of CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• State Licensure: Must hold an unrestricted license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
