Qualifications

• Must hold an active Illinois RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for shifts.
• Ability to follow facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy.
• Maintain an environment that supports residents' well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and staff development as needed.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service education.
• Document care and changes in condition per guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and provide clinical guidance to staff.
• Follow all safety protocols.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Collaborate with allied health team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policy and evaluate effectiveness
• Maintain an environment that supports residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions as needed
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents' conditionsAccurately document care provided, changes in condition, and other relevant information per facility guidelines
• Act as a charge nurse and serve as a resource for staff, offering clinical support and decision-making guidance
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols

Skills and Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
• No history of abuse convictions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care
• Must be able to work effectively with residents of varying ages and medical needs
• Must meet physical job requirements, including occasional lifting, bending, and standing
