Job summary

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services in New York, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. You will oversee medication administration and perform quarterly nursing assessments for individuals on your caseload.

You will coordinate medical/clinical case management with community providers, train unlicensed staff, and document in our EMR. A NYS RN license and a valid NYS driver’s license are required; one year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN licensure and registration.
• Valid NYS Driver's License and transportation.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

As theRegistered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

• Oversight of medication administration
• Quarterly nursing assessments of all individuals on caseload
• Oversight of medical/clinical case management for the individuals living in the residences, including interacting with community providers, and communicating medical/nursing needs/orders to other members of the team
• Training unlicensed assistive personnel on the medical/nursing/clinical needs of the individuals, and providing direction and education on how to meet those needs
• Using agency's electronic medical record system for documentation purposes

Registered Nurse Minimum Salary: $82,000/year

Registered Nurse Maximum Salary: $82,000/year

Registered Nurse Schedule: M-F flexible schedule, rotating subject to call

Qualifications:

• A current NYS Registered Nurse licensure and registration, with a minimum of one-year post-licensure experience
• Valid NYS Driver's License and personal transportation
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
