Job Title: RN Med Surg / Registered Nurse
Location: Kingman, KS
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $30 - $50 per hour

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school.
Six months to one year of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation and Schedule:

Full-time, three nights per week (7:00 pm to 7:30 am), including every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Salary range: $30 - $49 per hour, based on experience. Additional pay for BSN.
Shift differentials: $2.00/hr for evenings, $2.50/hr for nights, and $2.70/hr for weekends.
Comprehensive benefits package with a sign-on/relocation bonus of $5,000 for a 1-year commitment or $10,000 for a 2-year commitment. Tuition reimbursement of $5,000 per year available.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within a hospital setting.
Utilize AIDET communication methods with patients, visitors, and staff.
Coordinate patient assignments with the Charge Nurse and receive bedside reports from outgoing staff.
Perform and document real-time head-to-toe assessments.
Monitor patients, report changes, notify providers as necessary, and update relevant staff on patient conditions.
Administer medications following approved techniques and protocols.
Educate patients and their families, documenting in the electronic flow chart.
Perform hourly rounds and collaborate with support staff to provide patient teaching.

Additional Information:

The facility is a not-for-profit acute care hospital with fewer than 50 beds.
Target nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1, often 3-4:1 until census grows. Depending on census, additional nursing or CNA support may be available.
