Job summary

Urology Specialists of the Carolinas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our expanding clinical team. You will provide compassionate patient care, participate in nursing plans, and support physicians during exams and treatments.

The role focuses on clinical excellence, accurate record-keeping, immunizations, venipuncture, and patient education. We value teamwork and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care within a physician-led, independent practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NC license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 1-2 years in a med-surg or related field; office/ambulatory nursing preferred.
• Experience in urology or specialty practice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs through clinical data collection.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with measurable goals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and histories.
• Administers medications and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform venipunctures and specimen collection, take and record vital signs, and provide specialized urological nursing care.
• Prepare equipment, assist during examinations and treatments, and support physicians with procedures.
• Assist with patient education and provide information on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.
• Answer, triage and respond timely to calls and messages.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our expanding clinical team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs through clinical data collection

• Maintain accurate medical records and histories
• Administers medications and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform venipunctures and specimen collection, take and record vital signs, and provide specialized urological nursing care to ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and comfort
• Prepare equipment, assist during examinations and treatments, and support physicians with all procedures conducted in the clinic.
• Assists with patient education and provides information on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.
• Answers, triages and responds timely to calls and messages.
