Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile

• Accept new prescription orders and telephoned refills per supervising pharmacist
• Enter prescription and patient information into the computer
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and labeling prescriptions for dispensing
• Prepare prescriptions for mailing and submit insurance claims
• File prescriptions after dispensing and report medication errors
• Stock pharmacy supplies and maintain invoices
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and store cleanliness

There is occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals or solvents during compounding, including chemotherapy drugs. When working offsite for vaccination events, you may be exposed to equipment movement hazards, temperature extremes, vibrations, and dampness.
