Keep Active Health & Wellness is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our in-person medical and wellness practice in Virginia. This full-time, hands-on clinical nursing role focuses on IV therapy, blood draws, injections, and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications include an active Virginia RN license, strong IV and phlebotomy skills, and experience with IM/subcutaneous injections and EMR documentation. Lightly favored: prior IV infusion and outpatient clinic experience.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Keep Active Health & Wellness is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing medical and wellness practice.

This is a full-time, hands-on clinical nursing position focused on IV therapy, blood draws, injections, and patient care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Start and monitor IV therapy infusions
• Perform venipuncture and blood draws
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
• Administer GLP-1 injections, including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide
• Administer vitamin and wellness injections as ordered
• Monitor patients during treatments
• Provide patient education regarding injections and treatments
• Review patient charts and provider orders before administering medications or treatments
• Accurately document treatments, medications, and patient care in the EMR
• Follow proper medication administration and injection protocols
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas
• Assist with general clinic flow and patient care as needed
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and clinic policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with providers and other members of the clinical team

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong IV placement and phlebotomy skills
• Experience administering IM and subcutaneous injections
• Previous IV infusion experience strongly preferred
• Health, wellness, med spa, or outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule

Full-Time

• Weekday availability during clinic hours of 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Two Saturdays per month, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Schedule will be based on clinic staffing and patient needs
• Flexibility is required to help provide appropriate clinic coverage

Education
