Job summary

BrightStar Care of North Palm Beach and Martin Counties in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time, hourly home health care. You will report to the Director of Nursing and deliver care per the Plan of Care, ensuring quality and compliance with laws.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, maintaining clinical records, and counseling clients and families. Must hold Florida RN license, 2–5 years' experience, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver with car.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Florida RN license.
• 2–5 years of home health or clinical nursing experience.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Recent physical, TB test and CPR/BLS on record.
• Clean background and driving license with reliable car.

Responsibilities

The Home Health Nurse report directly to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for providing home health clinical services. The nurse is responsible for quality; adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff. The nurse is responsible for ensuing that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to.

Registered Nurse / RN Job Duties include:

• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act
• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs

Position Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Florida
• 2-5 years’ experience on your license
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Recent Physical, TB/Chest X‑ray on record
• Clean background and criminal record
• Current CPR/BLS
• Reliable car / auto insurance
• Peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Therapy Injection and self-infusion training Phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients CVAD experience & knowledge Advanced Nursing Certifications (CRNI, OCN preferred) IVIG
