Job summary

Lonerock Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to support its Ketamine Psychotherapy Program in the Pacific Northwest. The RN will administer IV/IM ketamine and Spravato, monitor patients, provide trauma-informed care, and maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.

Ideal candidates have an Oregon RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience, with preference for mental health or procedural sedation. Flexible daytime schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Oregon, in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (mental health or procedural sedation experience strongly preferred).
• Experience with ketamine, Spravato, or psychedelic-assisted therapy is a plus, but not required - training provided.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV and IM ketamine and/or supervise Spravato treatments in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Start and maintain IV lines, using med pumps and managing patient care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment sessions, including assessing vital signs, mental status, and physical response.
• Provide trauma-informed, empathetic support to patients during therapy sessions.
• Communicate any adverse reactions or complications promptly to the supervising provider.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (eClinicalWorks).
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Educate patients about what to expect before and after their sessions, including post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with providers, medical assistants, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education to stay current on ketamine protocols and mental health practices.
• Complete weekly counts of all Ketamine dispensed, and report findings to the billing cycle revenue manager.
• Track all medication deliveries, inventory and dispensing of medications in the Controlled medication logs.
• Draw labs for patients in the clinic, and prepare labs for shipment.

This RN will play a key role in administering IV and IM ketamine and Spravato treatments, as well as other medically appropriate treatments to primary care and mental health patients. Ideal candidates will be clinically competent, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering a supportive and safe experience for patients undergoing mental health treatment.

• Comfortable working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders.
• Experience with ketamine, Spravato, or psychedelic-assisted therapy is a plus, but not required - training provided.
• Excellent clinical judgment, strong interpersonal communication, and a calm demeanor.
• Passion for mental health care and innovative treatment modalities.
• Completing lab draws for patients in clinic.
• Tracking all incoming medication shipments and dispensing of medication.
