Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support our mission with patient-centered care in a dynamic team setting.

You will perform clinical procedures, triage patient needs, and respond to emergencies per established nursing standards. The role also includes handling inquiries, lab results, refills, and referrals to ensure continuity of care for our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients to determine appropriate care needs.
• Performs clinical procedures such as injections, wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertion/removal, and breathing treatments.
• Responds to lifesaving situations following nursing standards and protocols.
• Handles patient telephone inquiries, lab results, refills, and referrals.
• Provides provider coverage by assessing urgency of pending results and medications.

ROLE OVERVIEW and PURPOSE

The Registered Nurse (RN) works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by providing excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will work to improve overall patient satisfaction and well-being by demonstrating and living the company values: Compassion, Above & Beyond, Generosity, Integrity, and Teamwork. In addition, this role will attend to general nursing care to patients by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Triages patients concerns to determine appropriate care needed
• Performs clinical procedures, such as injections, wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertion/removal, and administering breathing treatments
• Responds to lifesaving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols

Clinical Administration

• Responds to patient telephone inquiries and provider requests regarding medical concerns, lab results, refills, and referrals
• Provides provider coverage by determining urgency of pending lab results, diagnostic imaging, and medication refills requested
