Job summary

Tribal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Eagle Butte, SD location. The role supports an ED team with a rotating 36/48 hour schedule and provides care across a tribal community setting.

The ideal candidate will hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and have at least 1 year of ED nursing experience, delivering culturally responsive care within the community.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ED nurse, who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.

Requirements

Certifications: BLS, ACLS and PALS

Experience: 1 year of experience

Schedule: 36/48 hour rotating schedule - open to block scheduling

Job Duties

Plans, implements, evaluates, and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation, annual and ongoing education, and clinical practice.

Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.

All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.

Per Diems to help with travel and lodging expenses for those that qualify
