Synectics Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide on-site medical care for employees in a meatpacking environment.

The RN will respond to illnesses and injuries, follow standing orders and medical directives, coordinate with external providers, and conduct hearing tests and screenings. The role requires an active RN license in the state of employment, the ability to work a 3pm–1am schedule Monday through Saturday (rotating Saturdays), and willingness to participate in overtime

Job Description

• Conduct hearing tests and support drug and alcohol screening programs.
• Maintain confidential health records and support OSHA-required documentation.
• Support employee wellness, safety, and ergonomic education.
• Escalate complex concerns to appropriate clinical staff.
• Perform other assigned duties within the applicable nursing scope.

Qualifications

• RN: Graduate of an approved nursing program, with a nursing diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree.
• Required for either pathway:
• Active, unrestricted RN license authorizing practice in the state of employment.
• Applicable education documents, license verification, and any required certifications must be on file before starting.
• No prior related work experience required. On-the-job training is provided.
• Ability to work the stated schedule, including required overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Comfort providing care within an industrial meatpacking environment.
• Schedule: 3pm-1am Monday - Saturday (rotating Saturdays) OT is almost guaranteed, based on production schedule.
