Job summary

Spectrum Vision Partners in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgery Center team. This role includes cross-training as a Circulator in the OR and supporting cataract, glaucoma, cornea procedures and laser vision correction surgeries.

You will manage Pre-Op/Post-Op care, demonstrate sound clinical judgement in a fast-paced PACU/OR, supervise patient flow, and collaborate with anesthesia to monitor sedation and recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with active US license.
• Pre-Op/Post-Op RN cross-trained in OR as Circulator.
• Ability to work in fast-paced PACU/OR settings.
• Provide exceptional patient care alongside physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management and leadership of the Surgical Center.
• Provide outstanding patient care daily.
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers on sedation and monitoring.
• Prepare patients for surgery and manage recovery and discharge procedures.

We are looking for a Pre-Op/Post Op Registered Nurse who is cross trained in the OR as a Circulator (“RN”) to join our Surgery Center and work alongside our Physicians in our renowned, multi-subspeciality eye care group.

THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

The RN is responsible for providing exemplary patient care alongside our Physicians as we treat cataracts, glaucoma, diseases of the cornea, and perform laser vision correction surgeries. You’ll exercise good clinical judgement during Pre-Op/Post Op care and ensure all policies and procedures are being followed. You’ll manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced PACU and OR while exhibiting sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
