Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of patient education techniques and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to patient care assignments and coordinate with care teams.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care based on physician treatment plans.
• Perform patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team.
• Provide patient and caregiver education.
• Assist physicians during surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating and scrub functions.
• Maintain sterile technique and a safe surgical environment.
