Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a registered nurse to support physicians in patient care and education at our Deland clinics. The role includes IV therapy, patient assessment, and collaboration with care teams to deliver high-quality oncology services.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in Florida, CPR and BLS, and have strong English communication skills. Travel to affiliated clinics may be required. Competitive benefits provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
