Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Davenport area. The RN will assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients, with responsibilities including IV therapy and ongoing patient assessment across oncology settings.

The position requires licensure in the state, CPR and BLS certifications, and a valid driver's license for travel to clinics. English fluency and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with licensure in the State of Residence.
• Experience with IV therapy.
• Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking and calm, effective emergency response.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS within 30 days of hire (FCS will provide BLS course).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.

The ability to assess patient needs and condition.

Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Current CPR certification.

BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).

Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Valid driver license for travel to clinics.

Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
