Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) is seeking a qualified RN to provide safe, accurate and efficient patient care in Conway, AR. The role includes patient assessment, reviewing labs and vital signs, administering chemotherapy and related therapies, and documenting care in the EMR.

You will educate patients and families and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans. Requirements include an active RN license, CPR/BLS, and experience with hematology/oncology settings.

Job Description Summary

Provides safe, accurate and efficient patient care, including but not limited to: patient assessment, review of labs and vital signs, medication safety, dose verification, and drug administration. Follows all Job Breakdown Instructions (JBIs) associated with role. Provides triage care when necessary. Communicates patient condition effectively to multidisciplinary team members.

Key Performance Areas
  • Safely and accurately administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non‑oncologic agents to patients as ordered by providers.
  • Use Oncology Nurse's Society (ONS) standards and guidelines.
  • Accurate and safe disposal of biohazardous waste, per OSHA and NIOSH guidelines.
  • Responsible for new and ongoing patient education, continual patient assessment, and support.
  • Documentation: thorough, accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) of treatment rendered to patients.
  • Ensure appropriate charges are captured by following guidelines for appropriate administration of all medications and activities.
  • Follow proper patient identification per JBI for all patient encounters.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects and planned treatment course.
  • Interact with patient and family in a caring, professional manner.
  • Telephone triage: prioritize incoming calls and messages from patients, families, hospitals, nursing facilities, pharmacies and physician offices from emergent to non‑urgent, responding accordingly within an appropriate time frame.
  • Supplies: assist with inventory and restocking medical supplies, recommend purchase of new items as needed, and place stock in storage areas in a timely manner.
  • Complete annual required safety and nursing trainings.
  • Attend all mandatory staff meetings as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee information.
  • Assist in training new employees related to job duties according to JBIs.
  • Expected to work at any company location to meet business needs on an as‑needed basis, within reasonable expectations – may work overtime with sufficient notice.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to patient privacy, patient rights, personnel law, safety, labor and employment law.
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures, including IT policies and the Disaster Plan.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Education:

Nursing Degree

Certifications/Licenses:
  • Unencumbered RN License in state of employment or a multi‑state license
  • Current CPR and BLS certifications
  • Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed
Previous Experience:
  • Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting
  • Ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills
