Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. This full-time opportunity includes every 3rd weekend shifts and pathways for growth within a supportive rehabilitation environment.

As a Short-Term Contract RN, you will have flexible 16-week assignments offering variety and experience across settings. We also provide comprehensive benefits and a clear pathway to full-time roles within the organization.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification; ACLS preferred for complex cases.
• CRRN certification preferred to support rehab goals.
• One year of rehab hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead assessments, tailor care plans.
• Build relationships with patients and families to support recovery.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Provide direct patient care when needed and mentor junior staff.
• Celebrate patient milestones and contribute to positive outcomes.
