Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our rehabilitation team in Chattanooga, TN. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, assess and adjust treatment plans, and support patients on their path to recovery.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and contribute to a high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation program within a leading inpatient facility.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
