Job summary

Caringhand Home Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our field-based team serving patients in California. You will review clinical documentation, ensure accuracy of coding, and collaborate with clinicians to uphold regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.

This per diem role requires travel to patients' homes, with a compensation of $110–$130 per visit. Ideal candidates hold an active California RN license, 1–2 years of home health experience,

Qualifications

• Active Californian RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of clinical home health experience.
• Working knowledge of OASIS assessments.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and state licensure.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• CPR certification with AHA.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments for completeness, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure accurate ICD-10 coding and sequencing based on patient conditions.
• Partner with clinical staff to resolve documentation and data integrity issues.
• Monitor visit utilization and flag potential financial risks or underutilization to clinical management.
• Identify and communicate trends impacting agency outcomes and process measures.
• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits with clinical team members.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance activities.
• Stay current with best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.
