Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts to provide comprehensive patient care and participate in a Clinical Ladder program that offers salary increases based on experience, development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Starting pay is $36/hr with an opportunity for growth.

Schedule includes 36 hours per week, nights 6:30pm–7:00am, with rotating weekends and holidays; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for eligible applicants and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• RN license is required.
• BLS CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Job Description:

• Starting Pay at $36/hr
