Job summary

USPI Advanced Surgery Center of Boerne is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our team. We operate 2 OR rooms and 1 Procedure room, performing outpatient surgical procedures in Pain Management, Spine, Orthopedic, and Total Joint replacements.

The position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule may change with the surgical flow.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have 1–3 years' previous experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Support the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-family centered care in the perioperative setting.

Job Summary

The RN is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN reports to the Clinical Manager.
