Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – North Mississippi, located in Batesville, MS, is seeking Full Time Registered Nurses for Night Shifts to provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting.

You will work closely with physicians and co-workers, communicate changes in patient condition, respond to evolving needs, and perform general nursing duties with appropriate supervision; shift differentials are paid for all night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Mississippi.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate with physicians and staff about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and perform general nursing duties with supervision.

The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
