Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will manage care for an assigned group of patients, following the hospital's philosophy and policies, with a focus on collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.

REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
