Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare seeks a licensed registered nurse to supervise and direct caregiver efforts within a client’s plan of care. Nurses may perform administrative and field responsibilities in line with state regulations.

You will provide skilled nursing care, document actions, administer medications as prescribed, and conduct required supervisory visits to ensure quality home-based services and compliance with clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• 1+ years nursing experience preferred.
• Current and unrestricted nursing license in the operating state.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care per Physicians Orders and Plan of Care.
• Document nursing actions of all care given and inform physicians and family accordingly.
• Administer and monitor medication as prescribed by physician.
• Conduct nursing assessment visits as needed.
• Follow policies and procedures according to operation, state and regulatory standards.
• Complete supervisory visits addressing plan of care, caregiver competency, and required documentation.
• Implement nursing support for individuals in home settings.
• Collaborate with Director or Nursing Supervisor/Branch Manager on health needs.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders and medical reports.

Overview

External Job Description

• Provides skilled nursing care/treatment to clients per Physicians Orders and Plan of Care

• Works with Director or Nursing/Nurse Supervisor and/or Branch Manager to address the health needs of individuals
• Participates in staff meetings, in-services and other meetings as needed
• Ensures compliance with physician’s verbal orders and medical reports
