Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare seeks a Part Time or PRN Registered Nurse to deliver skilled nursing care in clients' homes in Georgia. The nurse supervises caregivers, performs/administers clinical tasks, and coordinates with leadership to ensure high-quality care per physician orders and plans of care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to homebound clients per physician orders and plan of care.

• Administer and monitor medications as prescribed.
• Conduct nursing assessments as needed.
• Coordinate with Director/Nurse Supervisor on client health needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Overview

All Ways Caring Homecare is seeking a Part Time or PRN Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect care to clients in the comfort of their home environment.

The nurse supervises and directs the efforts of the Caregiver when involved in the client's plan of care. Based on state regulations, nurses may perform administrative and/or field/clinical responsibilities.

External Job Description

• Provides skilled nursing care/treatment to clients per Physicians Orders and Plan of Care
• Documents nursing actions of all care given to individuals and informs physicians and family accordingly
• Administers and monitors medication and management as prescribed by physician
• Conducts nursing assessment visit as needed
• Follows policies and procedures according to operation, state and regulatory standards
• Completes supervisory visits based on compliance and regulations to include review of plan of care, caregiver competency assessment, and completion of required documentation
• Implements nursing support for individuals in a home setting
• Works with Director or Nursing/Nurse Supervisor and/or Branch Manager to address the health needs of individuals
• Participates in staff meetings, in-services and other meetings as needed
• Ensures compliance with physician's verbal orders and medical reports

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
• One or more years of nursing experience preferred
• Current and unrestricted license in the state of the operation
• CPR professional certification
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information
