Job summary

Asheville Pulmonary & CCU, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. You will join an amazing team that supports each other and contribute to patient-centered outcomes and nursing initiatives.

You will manage patient flow, educate patients and families on medications, review and post test results, administer medications, and ensure rooms are stocked.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• Active RN license in accordance with state regulations
• 1–3 years of registered nurse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, general nursing care, and admissions/testing;
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• Check patient rooms daily for necessary supplies
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (including phone triage when needed)
