The ideal candidate holds a NJ RN license with BLS and ACLS, has infusion therapy experience, and demonstrates strong assessment and communication skills to support positive health outcomes.

Qualifications

• NJ RN license with current BLS/ACLS preferred.
• Experience with IV insertion, catheter care, and med administration.
• Background in ER or IV infusion clinics is a plus.
• Knowledge of pharmacology related to infusion treatments.
• Strong assessment and patient-education skills.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Infusion Nurse to join our premier IV hydration and wellness practice in Morristown. In this vital role, you will deliver specialized infusion therapies to patients across various settings, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, injections, and medications accurately following established protocols and aseptic techniques
• Educate patients on their infusion treatments, medication side effects, and self-care procedures to promote understanding and compliance
• Monitor patients continuously during infusion therapy for adverse reactions or complications, responding swiftly with appropriate interventions
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards and sterile processing protocols during all procedures

Qualifications

• Valid NJ nursing license RN with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Proven experience in infusion therapy, including IV insertion, catheter care, and medication administration
• Experience working in a hospital ER or IV Infusion clinic,
• Additional experience in specialized areas such as oncology infusions, dialysis access management, or pediatric infusion is a plus
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology related to infusion treatments and medication management
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize early signs of adverse reactions or complications
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
