Job summary

Home, Hope and Healing Inc. & Aspire Behavioral Health and Counseling seeks a Nurse-RN to assess client needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records with strict adherence to HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Assess client health problems and develop nursing care plans.

• Collaborate with health care team to access, plan, evaluate client care plans.

G. ASSIGNED DUTIES

Assess client health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients. May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Duties Include

• Consults and coordinates with health care team members to access, plan, implement, and evaluate client care plans.
• Maintains accurate, detailed reports and client records.
• Modifies client treatment plans as indicated by clients' responses and conditions.
• Observes nurses and visits clients to ensure that proper nursing care is provided.
• Prepare clients for and assist with exams and treatments.
• Prepares rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensures that stock on supplies is maintained.
• Provides health care and first aid.
• Performs routine and stat blood draws and specimen collection in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Administers prescribed medications including injections.
• Maintains a 50% billable productivity.
• Completes all required documentation within 24hrs. from date of service.
• Provides education to client and family.
