Job Description:

UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered MRI Technologist for the radiology department at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We offer up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus!

The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures according to established protocols, review patient histories, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Perform MRI procedures, explain procedures, and review safety protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and review images for diagnostic quality.
• Administer medications and contrast media as directed.
• Provide emergency care when needed.
• Maintain records, participate in quality control, and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program or an Associate degree in Radiologic, Nuclear, or Sonographic Technology.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• ARRT-MR licensure required.
• Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare workers.
