Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Taunton is seeking an experienced RMN/RNLD to join our team and deliver high-quality mental health care. You will work within a ward-based setting and contribute to care plans, audits, and clinical governance.

The role requires an RMN or RNLD with an active NMC PIN, a passion for patient recovery, and the ability to lead at times. We offer comprehensive development, supportive supervision, and a range of benefits.

Cygnet Hospital Taunton provides specialist mental health care and treatment for adults; our wards are split as follows:

Male Acute inpatients in three separate wards of a total of 30 beds, including a 4 bed step down ward.

Mixed Acute inpatients ward of 15 beds

Male Learning Disability and Autism High Dependency recovery ward of 9 beds

• Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments & observations
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, & improve quality
• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives & other healthcare professionals
• Administer medicines within healthcare procedure & Healthcare Commission guidelines
