Aston Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support nutritional services and high-quality resident care. This role involves assessments, care planning, education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal nutrition and wellness.

You will evaluate nutritional needs, develop individualized meal plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional development, and compassionate patient education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• RD or RDN credential required.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, regulatory requirements, and documentation practices.
• Commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate nutrition into treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust nutritional plans as needed.
• Support dietary staff with menu planning, therapeutic diets, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead or participate in wellness education, group sessions, or in-service training.
• Utilize appropriate technology and documentation systems to support care.
• Stay informed on current nutrition research and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.
