Job summary

The California Department of State Hospitals seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), perform nutrition assessments, and develop and implement nutritional care plans for clients and patients in a state facility. The RD will also provide education to clients and participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

As part of a safety-focused hospital setting, the role supports collaboration across disciplines and contributes to the overall wellbeing and treatment

The incumbent provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) including nutrition assessments, develops and implements nutritional care plans, and provides education for clients and patients in a state facility. The registered dietitian participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
