Job summary

Receptive, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a fully remote, contract role. You will provide virtual, one-on-one nutrition counseling grounded in evidence-based care and manage your own caseload.

Requires RD/RDN in good standing, state licensure, liability insurance, and outpatient nutrition experience. We offer flexible scheduling, client acquisition support, and licensing reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Applicable state licensure and professional liability insurance.
• Experience providing outpatient nutrition care or individualized nutrition counseling.
• Strong clinical foundation in medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based practice.

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Comfort working independently and using digital tools to deliver virtual care.

About the Role

We’re seeking Registered Dietitians who enjoy building meaningful client relationships and translating nutrition science into practical, individualized care.

This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor role. You manage your schedule and caseload, while TNC supports client acquisition, insurance billing, and administrative operations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide virtual, one-on-one nutrition counseling grounded in evidence-based care

• Address clients’ nutrition needs through medical nutrition therapy, practical guidance on meal planning and dining out, and interpretation of relevant lab results and supplementation guidance within your scope of practice

• Build strong, supportive relationships that encourage consistency and long-term engagement
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and client follow-up
• Manage your appointment schedule and keep your availability current

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Applicable state licensure and professional liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or previous credentialing with commercial insurance plans
