Job summary

Pomelo Care is seeking a licensed Registered Dietitian to deliver one-on-one nutrition counseling via telehealth. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans and guide patients through a multi-week program focused on metabolic and bone health, weight management, and gut health.

You will maintain clinical documentation, ensure privacy and compliance, and have the flexibility to set your schedule while supporting mothers through their wellness journeys.

Qualifications

• Licensed RD/RDN in any US state (CDR credential) required.
• At least 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling experience.
• Available for minimum 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.

Job description

As part of the Pomelo network, you will:

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients experiencing midlife and menopausal transitions.

• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team—including the patient’s dedicated medical provider and therapist—to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan that drives superior patient outcomes.

• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being.

• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition changes, bone health, and gut health.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.

What we’re looking for:

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with a license to practice in any US state.

  • *Candidates licensed in multiple states are highly encouraged to apply.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.

• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.

• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).

• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Have):

Experience or strong clinical interest in supporting patients with:

• Conditions of metabolic syndrome

• Weight loss and body composition changes

• Osteopenia/osteoporosis

• Gut health concerns, including bloating, IBS, and elimination diets

• Anti-inflammatory eating patterns
