Job summary

Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will deliver personalized nutrition care, develop patient-specific meal plans, and focus on patient-centered outcomes in a healthcare setting.

You will educate patients, families, and staff, monitor progress, maintain records, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance satisfaction and care quality.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and licensure.
• Experience providing clinical nutrition care and meal planning.
• Ability to educate patients and families on nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial nutrition assessments and develop patient-specific meal plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Conduct regular follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to nutrition and food services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and nutrition plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys
• Provide educational in-services to staff on nutrition-related topics
