Job summary

Nutrire Nutrition Services in Lake Placid, FL seeks a Registered Dietitian or Registered Diet Technician to join our caring team. You will provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and develop patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, CDR accreditation, FL license, and 1+ year of dietetics experience, preferably in long-term care. Strong communication and independence are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• CDR accreditation required/eligible.
• Florida licensure as RD or DTR.
• 1+ year of dietetics experience (long-term care preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling to patients with a variety of dietary needs and restrictions.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes
• MDS section K and Care plan development
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to incorporate dietetic recommendations into patient care plans
