RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a national leader in clinical nutrition consulting, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. Position Overview
- Type: Part-Time, On-Site
- Setting: PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly)
- Schedule: 24–32 hours per week
- Hours: Monday–Friday during normal business hours
- Compensation: $40–$45 per hour (based on experience)
- Travel: Travel time to and from the facility is paid at the hourly rate
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-up evaluations for PACE participants
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on each participant's medical conditions, nutritional needs, and personal goals
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to participants, caregivers, and family members
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to optimize participant outcomes
- Monitor participant progress and modify nutrition interventions as appropriate
- Identify and monitor participants at nutritional risk
- Provide recommendations for therapeutic diets, oral nutrition supplements, and other nutrition interventions as appropriate
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
- Assist with coordination of nutrition services and participant care as needed
- Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned and within scope of practice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related accredited field
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current state licensure/certification, if mandated by the state
- Minimum of one year of clinical nutrition experience preferred
- Experience working with geriatric populations or PACE programs preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Comfortable working on-site during normal Monday–Friday business hours
