RD Nutrition Consultants (RDNC) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition services for a behavioral wellness facility in the Seattle, WA area. This is a low-hour, highly flexible position—ideal for an RD seeking meaningful clinical work with excellent work/life balance.
You will support adults in a behavioral health setting through individualized nutrition assessments, planning, and ongoing monthly support. Hours are predictable and the schedule is flexible.
Guaranteed minimum 10 hours per month, with up to 12 hours as needed

Provide 1 hour of nutrition support per client per month, with additional time as clinically indicated
Complete individualized assessments, care plans, and nutrition-focused physical exams (as appropriate)
Monitor client progress, including weight trends, labs, appetite changes, and overall clinical status
Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health staff, and leadership to support client treatment goals
Deliver a combination of direct care (approx. 80%) and documentation/planning (approx. 20%)
Maintain accurate and timely records using the facility’s approved consulting logs
Support menu review and nutrition-related programming as needed (remote options available)
Experience in behavioral health, residential care, or clinical nutrition preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
Comfortable supporting diverse adult populations with varying levels of medical and behavioral needs
Reliable transportation for monthly onsite visits
