Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part-time inpatient position at Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus, Milford, CT. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based nutrition care to patients and collaborating with the care team.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s or ACEND-qualified Bachelor’s, RD/RDN eligibility with CDR, and will obtain RD certification within 120 days. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines.
• Eligible before 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.
• Meets eligibility for RD/RDN via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients as part of a team using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and staff across departments.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients and staff.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory and company standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
