You’ll provide 1:1 nutrition counseling, support clients from a non-diet, HAES-aligned perspective, and work with therapists and other providers to deliver integrated care. Thrive Ahead Co is seeking a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist to join our collaborative wellness practice!
As a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, you’ll work directly with clients to support their nutrition and overall wellness while being part of a collaborative, integrated care team.
Your role will center on client sessions, while also offering opportunities to be involved in workshops, community outreach, and shared team efforts that reflect Thrive Ahead Co.’s mission and values.
Client connection, collaboration, and creative nutrition care. This means you’ll be providing 1:1 nutrition counseling, supporting clients from a non-diet and instead HAES-aligned perspective, collaborating closely with therapists and OTs, contributing to community outreach and educational workshops, maintaining thoughtful documentation, and participating in team meetings and shared projects that support whole-person care.
If reading that makes you think, “YES! This sounds AMAZING! I love practicing from a non-diet and inclusive lens and would love to work alongside a team that truly values whole-person care!” then this might be your dream role.
If not, no worries! We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys blending direct client care with collaboration, education, and creative contributions to a growing wellness community.
This hybrid role brings together individualized nutrition counseling, community connection, and collaborative care. You’ll support clients through a strengths-based, non-diet, and affirming approach to nutrition while working alongside mental health and occupational therapy providers to offer truly integrated wellness care.
Whether you’re meeting 1:1 with clients, co-hosting a nutrition workshop in our community space, contributing to educational content, or collaborating on referrals and care plans, your work will help clients build trust with food, nourish their bodies, and feel supported within a connected, values-aligned team.
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, including medical history, dietary intake, and client goals
Develop and implement individualized, non-diet, HAES-aligned nutrition plans
Support clients in improving their relationship with food, including those with disordered eating, ARFID, and neurodivergent needs
Maintain timely, accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and care plans
Lead or co-host nutrition-focused workshops, groups, and educational offerings within the Thrive Ahead Co community
Create accessible, evidence-based nutrition content for workshops, handouts, or digital platforms
Engage in outreach efforts to support community partnerships and visibility of nutrition services
Stay current on research and best practices in nutrition, wellness, and inclusive care
Collaborate with mental health and occupational therapy providers to deliver holistic, coordinated care
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consultations to support client outcomes
Provide referrals and coordinate with external providers as needed to ensure continuity of care
Contribute to a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and affirming clinical environment
You’re looking for a mission-driven, hybrid role with a strong in-person presence and a genuinely collaborative team culture.
You’re a skilled dietitian who enjoys blending evidence-based nutrition care with creativity, flexibility, and individualized support.
You practice from a non-diet, HAES-aligned, trauma-informed lens and feel confident working with neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and diverse client populations.
You have experience—or a strong interest—in supporting adults navigating disordered eating, ARFID, executive functioning challenges, or the mental health–nutrition connection.
You value teamwork, curiosity, and growth, and want to be part of a practice where collaboration across disciplines strengthens the care you provide.
At Thrive Ahead Co., we’re all about creating a community where individuals feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to grow. Our collaborative team is committed to helping clients achieve their potential through therapy, wellness resources, and connection.
We’re a group of growth-minded individuals who value empathy, adaptability, and joy—both in our work and in our lives. If this resonates with you, we’d love to meet you!
You’re excited about working in a holistic, integrated wellness practice alongside therapists and other providers.
You practice from a non-diet, HAES-aligned, and inclusive lens and feel confident supporting neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and diverse client populations.
You enjoy building meaningful, ongoing relationships with clients through 1:1 nutrition counseling.
You’re looking to grow into (or further develop in) private practice work within a supportive team environment.
You value collaboration, curiosity, and shared learning, and like being part of a team rather than working in isolation.
You’re organized, communicative, and take ownership of your work while still leaning into team support when needed.
You’re energized by contributing to workshops, outreach, or community wellness efforts in addition to client care.
You already own (or are about to start) your own private practice and are not looking to invest long-term in a team-based setting.
You’re primarily looking for a job where you can clock in, see clients, and clock out without engaging in team collaboration or community involvement.
You’re not aligned with a non-diet, HAES, and affirming approach to nutrition care.
You prefer working fully independently and don’t enjoy collaborating with other providers or participating in team initiatives.
You’re seeking a short-term or temporary position rather than a role with growth and continuity.
You need a full-time role with benefits immediately and isn’t open to a part-time-to-full-time transition.
You struggle with organization, documentation, or follow-through with client communication and care coordination.
