Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. This role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident health and compliance with regulations.

Join for a Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility. You will assess needs, develop care plans, provide education to residents and families, and ensure documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification and license current in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with building occupants and leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state and customers.
• If multi-site, valid driver’s license is required.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings, labs, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
