Job summary

Intermedia Group Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a Registered Dietitian (LDN and RDN) for an outpatient, part-time role—3 eight-hour days per week, weekday only.

You will provide medical nutrition therapy, perform nutrition assessments, deliver nutrition education, and support the Clinical Nutrition Department teams in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health team.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition or related field; masters can be waved for grandfathered licenses.
• Completion of Dietetic internship and successful passing of the RD exam.
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality clinical nutrition services by working with a multi-disciplinary health team.
• Performs nutrition assessments on patients identified as nutrition risk.
• Provides nutrition education as identified and indicated.
• Provides support to the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department teams.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is PART TIME (3 eight hour days per week) weekday role. (no weekend / no holiday).

• Provides quality clinical nutrition services by working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Provides medical nutrition therapy for all patients in accordance with providers orders, as well as hospital, and Clinical Nutrition Department policies.
• Performs assessments on all patients identified to be at nutrition risk per established policies and procedures.
• Provides nutrition education as identified.
• Provide support to the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department Teams.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Master of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition or related field (will be waved for those grandfathered into the license without the masters). Completion of Dietetic internship. Successful passing of the registration examination for dietitians (RDN).
