Job summary

Walden Behavioral Care is seeking a Registered Dietitian for inpatient and residential programs at Dedham Center for Recovery. This per diem role covers adult and adolescent patients, with pay of $31.73–$47.00 per hour depending on education and experience.

The RD will assess patients within 48 hours, design meal plans, and collaborate with the treatment team, families, and staff to support recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Experience with menu planning and therapeutic diets in healthcare setting.
• RDN with AND certification and MA licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive Nutrition Assessments within 48 hours of admission.
• Complete follow-up Nutrition Assessments 2x/week.
• Prescribe meal plans aligned with Walden goals and nutrition philosophy.
• Work with patients and families to promote meal plan adherence.
• Provide individual and group nutrition therapy.
