Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital San Antonio Inc. in Willingboro, NJ is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy, assess nutritional needs, and monitor patient progress in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification, if required by state.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• One (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care to patients including development, implementation and monitoring of Medical Nutrition Therapies.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff, patients, families and food service to ensure nutrition care plans are implemented.
• Perform nutritional assessments and re-assessments, identifying goals, recommending nutrition interventions, and monitoring progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support regimens.
• Coordinate with Speech Therapy to progress textured modified diets for safety and intake optimization.
