Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa is hiring a Registered Dietitian for a full-time position. You will provide medical nutrition therapy, perform nutritional assessments, and collaborate with the care team to implement nutrition plans for patients throughout recovery.

We offer a compensation range of $28.00–$44.00 per hour, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits as a full-time team member in a critical illness recovery setting.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification, if required by state.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor Medical Nutrition Therapies for patients.
• Collaborate with medical staff, patients, families, and food service to implement nutrition plans.
• Perform nutritional assessments and reassessments; set goals and monitor progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition regimens.
• Coordinate with Speech Therapy for textured modified diets to ensure safety and oral intake.
• Review and update the Nutrition Care Manual and educate staff.
• Keep current with nutrition practice and continuing education.
• Evaluate potential food/drug or herb interactions.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate progress.
• Participate in menu planning and meal rounds.
